Veinlite Sclerotherapy

When treating spider veins it is crucial to locate and close any and all feeder vessels. These are blue-green in color and are called reticular veins. If untreated, spider patches can often become subject to early recurrance. These feeder vessels can often originate 4-8 inches away from a zone of spiders. The Veinlite transilluminates veins below the skin and allows Dr. Hyde to accurately map out the course of these feeder vessels prior to injecting the spider veins. The Veinlite also sees vessels below the skin which may not be visible to the naked eye. Comprehensive precise vein closure is the advantage of Veinlite guided sclerotherapy. It is similar to ultrasound guided sclerotherapy but concentrates on superficial rather than deeper feeder vessels.
